How many lines connect to your grouphead (1 or 2) ?? Do they connect to the top or the back of the group ??
Eric , I emailed you a better picture of the intake manifold .. there is only one line to the group head , going to the back of the group coming in from the top , thank you , Max

And here is a better (?) diagram of your hydraulic system. The SCNR valve is explained on page 18 of the manual.

It appears from your pics that the pump was discharging into the side of the manual boiler fill assembly rather than the end. I don't believe that makes any difference but certainly Astoria USA would know - http://www.usa.astoria.com/

In another thread you are discussing the installation of a delay-on-make relay for the pump/motor assembly. I would strongly recommend you get the machine fully operational in a "stock" condition FIRST.

Eric thank you again ,
Not sure I get your point about the pump discharge ... but

The diagram you posted is certainly ( at least to me ) is better , I am not sure where you got it but it is not part of the manual I have for my machine . There are differences though compared to what I have on the machine :
- The Water distributer part ( #24 ) is not on mine
- The SCNR valve ( #6 ) ( which I now understand , the diagram shows it on the " IN " line to the flowmeter , but mine is on the " OUT " line from the flow meter to the HX..
- Also I dont have a boiler drain tap as shown ( it would have been a nice thing to have )
- OF course your diagram shows an entirely different motor ( more like the one I a m planning to use ) and yours show the inlet on the manifold being on a different hole .. which I assume is ok to change to .
I agree with you on trying the machine as is first before I make any changes , issue is I bought the machine already with the knowledge that the motor is shot .. existing motor is water cooled on board , and the replacement motor I bought is already an outboard one ( knowing that if I was to replace the motor , outboard is what I preferred ) .. so certain plumbing changes must take place before I am able to fire up the machine .
BUT I can certainly plan on testing the machine wit new motor BEFORE I install the delay on make relay.
