Yield tho is yield.
You can have different preferences on whether you prefer a coffee at 19 or 22 %....you cant disagree thay certain grinders or burr design can't get to 22% yields.
Op asked if burr design effects taste in the cup.
Different burrs capable of different yields ( not subjective )

Yes, I like this line of thinking very much! I would imagine different yields would definitely affect taste. Do we have data on specific grinders and yields? How does one go about figuring out yields?
