Scott - this was never an issue with shot quality, because as discussed I ultimately pull the shots based on temperature and have gotten in a groove in that vane. Again, this pressure variance observation was merely brought up as an interesting "artifact" I found when setting pressure... only something that had my OCD nature (which I know you can relate :D ) wondering what was going on, and as stated above, I am starting to wonder if it is a function of the gauge, and not the machine. Thanks for your insights.
If I could just like crappy coffee again, it would sure save a lot of time and money!
