What's "normal" Pasquini Livia 90 boiler cycle time?

Hello All,

Just upgraded my Saeco Aroma to a used Livia 90 and I had a quick question. (Yayy! I love it so far.) How often should the orange boiler light kick on? Mine kicks on every minute or so and keeps the boiler pressure between 1 and 1.4 bars.

Does this seem okay, or should it not kick on that often? This is at idle and the machine has been on for 15 minutes or so. The exact time between when the orange light turns off and then back on is between a minute and four seconds to a minute and ten seconds. Seems like it goes up the longer the machine is on due to less heat loss, I would imagine.

All functions; steaming, pulling, and hot water seem to be working properly. There are no leaks or hissing noises that I can tell.

Thank you!

Sounds perfectly normal to me. The steam boiler cycle timing depends on how much heat the boiler is losing and the pressurestat deadband. If it's insulated, the boiler will cycle less often (on the order of 1-1/2 to 2 minutes).
