Artisan delta smoothing

The delta BT readings in Artisan are really noisy on my setup. This appears to be due to a couple of factors: the sensor is noisy, I use a 1 second sample rate, and values from the sensor are reported only to a precision of 0.1F. Those last two alone mean that my delta BT number oscillates by 6 deg/min, making it pretty useless.
I wrote a quick hack to use linear fit to compute DeltaBT, but I'm up to my ears in coffee and won't be able to try it out for a week or so. If anyone wants to try it, the diff is here. It should apply cleanly to a current checkout of Artisan. Note that it doesn't change the DeltaBT graph, just the LCD number on the right. Let me know how it goes if you try this out.
Also, anyone using aArtisan with TC4 can edit the arduino program to use 2 values after the decimal point, or just apply this patch which does that.

Hello,
I am going to roast tonight. Could you tell me how to install this .diff file?
Regards
