What do you with a roast that just didn't turn out to taste good no matter how you prepare the drink?

Cream & Sugar?

Compost?

If it's a large batch (> 1 pound) donate it to a battered woman's shelter or charity of your choice. As long as it has basic "coffee flavor" and isn't so sour or astringent/ bitter that your dog wouldn't drink it, then 90% of the coffee consuming public would likely love to have it.

I give it to my daughter. She takes it to her office; they'll drink anything and seem to like it. :D

Feed it to civets to see if further "processing" might improve the flavor?

Shoe cabinet deodorizer. Pretty effective! If you are brave enough, you can try it after a week that it's been there. :D

Whatever I can't drink I just snort. . .seriously though I throw it in the compost heap. I don't want to associate myself with bad coffee to a wider audience.
