Hi, I have a Bezzera BZ07 that is connected to a 15A breaker in my house.
The BZ07 is a 1400w / 12.7A machine and it shares the 15A breaker with a range hood (fan) above my stove.
I can run both appliances at the same time, but I've noticed when the boiler is heating, the sound of the fan changes (as though being starved for power).

With the above situation, is there any danger of damaging the BZ07 ?

Thanks,

Brian

Heads up - keep below the wire's maximum current (15a). This means that at 15a, there is a significant voltage drop on the cable, hence the change in fan sound. The 'dropped' voltage is busy heating the wire.

Not dangerous for a simple coil-type element, it'll just heat less, as less voltage is available. But careful of overloading the circuit!

Breakers will often tolerate 1.2x their rated current for long enough to cause some very hot cables...
That's before factoring in resistance at connectors/junctions
