I finally received my unit in last night. Unfortunately, I was only able to set it on the cart but will have to wait to try it out when I get back from vacation this weekend.

I chose this updated model for the larger steam and water knobs found on the Vetrano and since its now equipped with a rotary pump. The unit is solidly built. The new QM metal badge also adds a very nice touch.






I noticed a couple of takeaways. The whole top plate has to be removed to access the reservoir (I wonder if I can be fitted later with one of their newer hinged covers). And the drip tray has to be slightly angled up to release which can cause a spill if it were full and not carefully pulled out.

I can't wait to fire this bad boy up! Stay tuned...
