Read the locked thread, that's what I measured. Over and over. With the antistatic screen in place, you are probably compacting grinds in the chute. I have no idea of grinds retention under these conditions. But 30g is, to put it mildly, highly improbable.

This is my last post here. If you want to waste 30g coffee on purges at the start of the day, that's your privilege. I'd rather use it to make espresso.

Its true that the static screen compacts the grinds and I actually purge 15 grams as It looks like about 10g in the chute.

I do it twice a day after the machine sits as we have coffee in the morning and in the afternoon

Your word was never in doubt, Im sure yours measures that much and I hope I did not offend...
