Watching those, I think I just convinced myself to buy the PFP and a local Skerton (20).

Thank you for posting those. Very helpful. After watching those I can say that I underestimated the concept of the PFP mod. These videos have me thinking and reassessing my previous impressions. That alignment procedure looks daunting to say the least, but doable and probably worth the time.

I wish there was a video that breaks down the Mini and shows the amount of wobble that occurs in the same way. I would love to see how the Skerton+PFP compares to the Mini without the tape mod. Either by expecting the burr alignment as Doug did or assessing the consistency of the grind side-by-side.
