im trying to get some more work done on my classe 8 project. im at the point where its time to descale the boiler but im unsure if i should be dipping it. Last boiler i did was copper so it was not an issue, this looks like stainless but could be plated, is there a way to find out.

i dont want to dip it in citric and ruin the plating.
