A new wine-bar and cafe is open in Vienna that offers the rare opportunity to drink espresso from a fully restored two-group Gaggia Classica - the original commercial hydrocompressor. The only other place I have seen an operational Classica is in Enrico Maltoni's collection.

The cafe is a small operation called Tredici Gradi. They are located on Kaiserstrasse near Burggasse. The cafe is linked to one of the vineyards in Chianti and offers a selection of their wines.

The coffee is not remarkable, but it is an unusual opportunity to sample espresso from the earliest of the commercial lever machines.
