Hi there,
I'm looking for a replacement pin sproket for a Gaggia lever-group.
The one in the grouphead I'm working on at the moment has a broken tooth!
It is possible to get by with one missing tooth, but I'd like to find a replacement and they appear to out-of-production right now and/or very expensive.
Can anyone help ?

Very expensive, as you hinted, you should be able to set it up so that the missing tooth is not in the band of travel. We had one (Mike Knight figured it out) that wasn't missing a tooth, but it was slightly dented and wouldn't slot in correctly, restricting travel. We were able to rotate it into an out of use position and it seems to be fine.

As it happens Coffeparts AU have already confirmed they don't have stock or an ETA, Nuova Ricambi have stated its out-of-production as have devecchigiuseppe. Ascasso no, Eunasa no, Chisko yes but 165 euros!
Anyone got one kicking about it their workshop and want a fiver for it ?

Have you contacted Doctor Espresso. He has heaps of bits and pieces and in is your part of town, but may be reluctant to part with them from his spares pool...
