hello,
I bought a 1997 Elektra Semiautomatica and now I want to descale it.
I studied manual and I do not find any fast way to empty the boiler after descaling.
The only way I see is to let the steam go out from the steam wand, but this seem to me a bit complicated and moreover a bit of the descaling solution will remain on the bottom of the boiler for sure.
Is there a way to empty the boiler completely in order to be sure to have in the boiler only fresh water?

Easiest way is to drain it through the steam valve. Lay the machine on its side over a sink with the steam arm down (use towels to stabilize it). Open the valve, and let it drain. Takes about 15 minutes.

As Jim says but I will remove the wand,
and for the Heating Exchanger just run water out activating the brewing switch,
do not overlook the gigleur on the left side of the grouphead
if you are doing a deep cleaning

ok, I did it.
a bit complicated, but I did it.
My problems now are the two flexible pipes on the bottom
In one of them the inner plastic tube was almost melted. Water went out from anywhere. I replaced it but now the other one started to leak.
