L.A. now has so many high-end coffee shops that in some parts of town you can practically close your eyes and walk into one. It makes perfect sense for the owner of a bike shop with a coffee bar to cater to the preferences of her biker customers. Unless we are willing to share her business risks, I think it is presumptuous to think we know what she should be doing instead.

No one in this town is being deprived of the opportunity to get great coffee because of what she serves.
I frequently remind myself of that, I'm not oblivious to it. I basically stated that you could find better ways to be like Starbucks, if that's your goal as a cafe. I stand by my statements.
