What cafes do you think make the best coffee in Seattle and more broadly in Washington?
The best I've had:
- Espresso Vivace - Capitol Hill
- Analog Coffee - Capitol Hill
- Slate Coffee - Ballard
- Milstead - Fremont

Haunce,
Of course, it is truly a question of taste - what makes ya go yummmmmmm.
I do love Vivace Dulce. Some think it is a difficult coffee sometimes. I haven't had that problem at all.
I have three pounds of frozen Cafe Ladro beans in my freezer and will try some of it later today.
I hear great things about Zoka but, for me, it was a little sour - maybe a little too much of the pursuit of the fruit???? A lot of people love it. I think my tastes are a little more simple than that and I just don't like sour.
I'm really enjoying one of my local roasters here in Olympia - Olympia Coffee Roasting Company. It has a bit of an edge but very complex and towards the lighter side. Love going into their Capital Way store for the ambiance as much as anything else.
Good luck on your search and may you find coffee you love,
Rick
