Every time I see a picture of a nice yellow kettle on a La Peppina, I'm a little envious. Since I replaced the original black kettle with a few rust spots with one from the great Orphan Espresso parts purge, I've been thinking I should treat the rust spots and paint it yellow. I've heard of newer spray enamels that don't require heat cures, would something like this work? Any success stories on how to treat the rust? I'm not sure how successful the rust removal method that Robert R. Pavlis documented on a painted kettle. Corrosion prevention in espresso machines.
