Sounds like a great purchase - if your primary goal is to assuage a guilty consumer conscience.
For coffee, I recommend a scale with 10X the range, accuracy and precision of this piece of, ahem, americana. And the ability to tare. And measurements in something other than pennyweight.

Numbers such as 9.3 grams for my single basket is not something I can taste or enjoy.
My objective is consistent amount of grinds to pull consistent shots - numbers to 0.1? - not so much. Calibrated eyeball works.
Assuage consumer conscience? - perhaps. My intention as a consumer is to purchase quality goods. Made in USA, Made in Italy does assuage that consumer objective - no guilt.
Pennyweight scale works as an inexpensive brick on my espresso zen path. 10X pennyweight? - maybe later, thanks.
