Why no suds during backflush?

Postby Tazza d'oro on Tue Mar 08, 2011 4:35 pm

I have recently opened a container of Joe Glo which I purchased some time ago. When running the cleaning cycle of my Expobar Office, there are no suds such as appear when I use Cafiza. Is there something wrong or is it just a different cleaner. Most of the white granules just remain in the blind filter along with some dissolved coffee remains from the shower screen.

I don't notice many suds when I backflush with Joe Glo...though I do recall reading "less foam...more clean!" on the canister, so that's probably to be expected.

Thank you so much. My aged eyes did not easily see the white printing on the vivid yellow label. I read the directions instead and there was no such mention. As you stated, "less foam...more clean" does appear on the Joe Glo label itself.

It is just a low foaming cleaner. I believe it was originally designed to clean brewing equipment and you dont want a lot of foam in your yeast filters. I have been using it for years. Works wonderfully.
