14 g for a La Peppina spring lever 45 mm double (7 g for the single basket)

18 g for a MyPressi Twist gas 58 mm double. I'm considering trending down towards 16 g, but the 18 g shots are really tasty.

I've yet to determine a standard dose for the 51 mm Gaggia Factory manual lever that I just picked up, but I'll probably start at 14 g.

You can always get an Elektra Microcasa a Leva double basket, which takes quite a bit more, up to around 17g. It's an old trick and an effective one, assuming you like higher doses.

Cheers

Do I need a bottomless portafilter to use the Elektra double basket?

I have often wondered this too. I have been dosing to 18-19 g for a while now and pleased with the results:

Black Cat Espresso 18.5g +/- 94C Quick Mill Alexia & Mini Mazzer E
