It's hard for me to imagine improving on the OE dosing funnel and slap shot technique: pure, simple perfection.jwCrema wrote:I've mulled saying this, but it was part of the request for feedback.
My grinder is setup for single dosing and I'm not finding distribution issues through the use of the slapshot technique that Doug at OE has video'd. The slap shot process takes about 2-3 seconds, is free, doesn't add any equipment, and I'm not waiting 30 seconds a shot.
I'd be cautious investing capital in this project.

Sadly, no. I guess we just got busy with life and this project has just been sitting going nowhere for months.DrJ wrote:Any updates on availability?

For a cheap coffee distribution tool, my wife modded a 3d print model coffee spreader to add a funnel and deepen the spreader arm for our Gaggia Classic 58mm portafilter.
Many cities have a 3d printer in libraries or makerspace. Here we printed it for about $5Cdn.
Put it on the portafilter, dose into it, turn it a few times with a tap between turns, tamp and go.
