Thanks Dan. I don't really see any harm in responding, as long as I don't give away my Social Security number and bank account info.

Television is really big money. The 'Big Give' paid a producer, an associate and I to fly/drive, shoot all day, and the tape costs alone would have made a decent days tips for a small shop. they used less than five minutes of that footage.
ESPN paid that same associate and I, and a satellite uplink truck to go get an interview with Mike Skinner while he was in Phoenix for last week's NASCAR event. We drove for two and a half hours each way, waited at Victory Circle for an hour, set up for about twenty minutes, shot a three minute interview, struck our kit and drove away. Our estimated cost to ESPN is about $2500 a minute.
Ask what your participation is.

This is what I put in a couple of days ago but first a bit of background...

It's a ridiculous parody of old school Kung Fu movies that I was put up to as part of a dare by some of my pals at GCBC and yes it's an inside joke. No editing, no Kenny G background music, no special effects, no fade in's or out's and certainly no budget - just a five minute long A to Z of the entire espresso process (with an uncooperative tripod):

Instead of throwing comical front snap kicks I probably should have put in a regular pour like these...

Today's pours, a mixed bag of seven pours into four ounce cups:

Yesterday's pours, rosetta's into four ounce cups. The "espresso-fu" thing is part of the bigger inside joke shown above:

Edited: wrong link (thx Dan).

just be sure that you don't start daydreaming during your pour and accidentally pour latte art featuring your SS#.

I am very happy to announce we will be extending the contest. I am also really happy about announcing we will be changing the prize to a Dalla Corte Mini one of the best machines I have ever used. We will soon be selling the machines and they are on the way. I hope this encourages more people to enter, as now you will be getting a machine more in line with your barista skills. I cant tell you how happy we are to have formed a relationship with Dalla Corte and look forward to working with them as they enter the US market. It truly is a wonderful machine to use, speaking of entering lets get those videos pouring in (every pun intended) Good luck and I do think this makes the contest a lot more fun.
