How to emphasize high/bright flavors?

What grind, temp, etc factors play into getting more of these?
My new LaSpaz is much more consistent than the old crappy machine, but seems to be marginally flatter taste profile. I need to try the brighter blend again though, now that I've gotten a little more familiar with the machine.

I'm getting good consistent pulls, no channeling, good maybe slightly short timing- I will be trying a slightly finer grind for the single & doubles. Triple seems to need slightly coarser than I'm currently using. Haven't played with that one much of any yet.

Lots of reasons for a "flatter" profile. If its the same coffee you've been using in your old machine I'd try turning down the temp a bit. This should bring out more of the brightness in the coffee.

Cheers
