Depending on the humidity, I adjust every day, sometimes twice a day. In a cafe they may adjust the grind every hour. As the bean ages, it requires a finer and finer grind. Spring wreaks havoc on beans with the constantly changing humidity, some days it seems like I have to adjust the grind every time someone opens the door.

I don't have coffee around for more than two weeks; the grinder needs a small adjustment every day. For the Mazzer Mini, it's a millimeter or two finer each morning, depending on the humidity, beans, and whims of the espresso gods.
