I don't find that process very 'easy' considering it's HOTT to the touch... hot enough to make you want to think twice about doing it again. Also, banging a portafilter while trying to hold the filter in with a thumb has given me the pleasure of fishing through a garbage on more than one occasion. I don't see a use for a knockbox...yet.mitch236 wrote:Easy, I just put my thumb on the lip of the basket when I hit the bar. Works perfectly most of the time.

Works perfectly most of the time is not an oxymoron. I know it sounds like one but it really means it works perfectly most of the time, otherwise it works good enough!!!An oxymoron (plural oxymorons or oxymora) (from Greek ὀξύμωρον, "sharp dull") is a figure of speech that combines contradictory terms.
