Cleaning the water reservoir

I'm searching for the best way to clean the plastic reservoir of my Expobar Office Control. Is there a way to do so without leaving some soapy residue which would linger and spoil the taste of the product.

A couple trips through the dishwasher will get rid of the plastic smell. For a general cleaning I use to just fill it with very hot water, swish around and dump out. If you are worried about funky stuff growing in it you could add a tablespoon of plain old bleach to a tank full of water, let it sit, swish and rinse two or three times. If you use soap, use non scented dish soap.
