Cant get good foam? check this

Postby LeoZ on Mon Jun 04, 2007 1:07 pm

as simple as it sounds, make sure you are using a good pitcher! i keep my pitchers in the freezer, and grabbed my turkish ibrik style one. the steel isnt as thick as my frothing pitcher, and the milk heats before microfoam completely sets in. with the frothing pitcher, no probs at all, the thicker material helps keep things cooler for just the right amount of time.

now, this doesnt mean i have a proper art forming pitcher, just a proper (non-pointed tip) steaming pitcher. one thing at a time. :P
