Bubbly Crema

the crema from my Gaggia Evolution seems a little too foamy with too many bubbles. any idea what the cause is?

Very fresh beans is the usual cause. They have not had time to rest and degas, that is but one of many possibilities.

+1 to Dave's comment. Blends with lots of Robusta are another common reason.
