Don't know about price comparsions but the selection is quite large and they seem to know the subject very well.


Mine came from there too. I just watched their deal of the day until I saw one that had what I wanted. I was looking for AC power, 500g+ capacity, 0.1g resolution. A good one came up within two weeks of paying attention to that. (I wound up with this one, though the price was much lower than that.)

Strange, they have hundreds of scales that is the same one I ended up with! One (tiny) thing I like about it is the cover is sturdy enough so that when it is closed my knock box can rest on top, extending surface storage area.

I finally got the dealer to replace the Gasket - no much change.......it still huff and puff and the PF is getting unscrewed from the pressure... :shock: may be I should put less coffee.... :? I am waiting for the scale.....

I just choose a particular basket for a roast, depending on the size dose that's needed. Then I just get a good idea of what a proper dose looks like. To me, a proper dose is what passes the "nickel test". I find if that test is met, then you shouldn't get any channeling provided you grind and dose well. But sometimes I do weigh the beans first.

In my experience, some blends/beans are more flexible than others. Lately I've been using Redline and Hair Bender, both of which seem very flexible and I rarely have a problem like channeling/early blonding.
