Hi,
I bought a brand new Olympia Cremina in December of 2015. Today it shut off twice. Anyone have this experience? Any thoughts on what I should do?

OK, if the machine has enough water in the boiler (i.e. is above 'minimum' in the sight glass) then you have a problem, and as the previous poster said you should take it back to the dealer as these machines come with a 3 year warranty for such things.

So when the outlet started to smoke yesterday morning I assumed correctly that it wasn't the machine. Relieved!
