Squeaky brew lever on E61 machine (ECM Classika)

Is this a part that requires lubrication of any kind ? this machine is less than two months old and upon pulling a shot the lever is a bit tougher to move all of a sudden and it squeaks.

It can be worst or accelerated by chemical backflushes.
