In Montréal, those are my favorite cafés:

Café Myriade : One of the best café in my opinion. They have 49th Parallel mostly.
Pikolo Espresso Bar : They serve Phil & Sébastian, also excellent.
Humble Lion : The have some George's Horwell and Intelligentsia from what I remember.
Hochecafé : They have beans from Metropolis.

Of course, as others have already mentionned Café St-Henri (they have 2-3 different locations in Montréal) one of the good roasters based in Montréal.

If you can find coffee from Kittel, or Dispatch Coffee you should try it, they are also two fairly decent roaster of Montréal.

In Laval, I don't think there is good coffee yet from what I remember, but I moved from there a couple of years ago, so it might have changed.

Bonjour,

My best coffee so far with my set-up, a Londinium L-1 lever espresso and Malkonig K30 grinder is the ME (mélange espresso) from Cafe Crema. Contact Sébastien at info@lecafecrema.com. I have tried many espresso coffee and this one is the best by far!

Vincent
