Ideal step-up to a dual boiler system. Purchased new from Chris' Coffee in 2010 and recently refurbished there. Unit in excellent condition and has seen only regular home use. Unit will be packaged and shipped from Chris' Coffee and they are available to answer your questions about it.
Dual boiler, manual fill espresso machine including installed pre-infusion chamber ($79.95), two standard shower screens, one La Spaziale precise shower screen ($41.50) and 20 Amp to 15 Amp converter cord ($13.95) enabling plugging into standard 3-prong outlet.
Features and original equipment include:
- Dual boiler, for very efficient and easy pulling shots and steaming milk
- 1.2 liter steam boiler and .9 mm, 4-hole steam tip, stainless steel steam arm, perfect for steaming small or large milk pitchers
- .45 liter group boiler, per-degree temperature adjustable through touch pad and indicated by LED display
- Programmable offset temperature, adjustment to optionally set an offset to allow machine temperature lamps to exactly match the water temperature exiting the group
- Manual fill large capacity 3 liter water tank with replaceable filter, easy access from front of machine, front access is especially important when unit is located under low clearance kitchen cabinets
- Installed optional pre-infusion chamber, makes a shot more forgiving of tamping and packing errors, provides more shot to shot consistency, and can help bring out subtle flavors that may otherwise be missed
- Vibratory pump (extremely quiet)
- Volumetric dosing, enables you to set the amount of coffee for single and double cups, for consistent push-button shots and delivery automatically stops
