Thought you guys might be interested! I check the HG One site pretty regularly and this just popped up there.

http://hg-one.com/product/cremenia-steamtip-adapter/
Adapter for Olympia Cremina steam wand to La Marzocco sized steam tips.

The stainless steel adapter is a male M7 to 1/8 BSPT Pipe Size 28TPI. The BSPT thread commonly fits steam tips such as the Sproline Foam Knife.

Remove the stock tip on the Cremina and use the adapter for 3rd party steam tips.

Adapter only, does not include steam tip.

*Earlier model Cremina's have the steam tip brazed on to the wand. Please check your steam wand before ordering.

I got one of these adapters and a Sproline tip. I thought I had been doing OK with the stock tip, but this is really a big improvement in ease and consistency of getting excellent foam.

The Sproline is very expensive but it does work very well. Again, the adapter fits only the newer Creminas that have wands with the removable tip.

Glad to hear that the new tip is big improvement. While I have yet to splurge for the Sproline tip, I did upgrade the stock steam wand on my '74 Cremina to a new-style steam wand from Cerini Coffee:

The new wand is an improvement over the original, but I was always hoping that HG One would release its long-promised adapter. So if you have an older Cremina and want to turbo-boost the steaming capabilities, you'll need: new steam wand, HG one adapter, and Sproline tip.
