Plastic bottles and contamination from cold brew?

I have a few straightforward questions...
Can you contaminate food grade plastic bottles by storing beans and/or cold brew?
If so.. is there a way around it?
Does plastic hold on and retain coffee oils so efficiently?
Or can the bond between food grade plastic and coffee oils (from beans and/or cold brew) be broken with proper maintainance???
Am i thinking too much?

It could be as complex or as simple as you want. It's the choice of the barista.
