Good morning,

I came upon this old for Vegan Latte which looks amazing.
Vegan latte that doesn't taste like it :-)

Unfortunately the thread is no longer accepting comments. Should I go for 1:3 or 1:4 cashew to water ratio?
Also, for the sugar (I plan to use raw sugar), how much should one add? (for a 6oz latte) Should it be added to the milk before steaming? After steaming? Or should it be added to the espresso? :?

Any help will be much appreciated.

For stuff like this, I would go by your own personal taste.. also, I bet a cashew milk would make a great cappuccino with a coffee like Red Bird or Counter Culture Big Trouble/Toscano. Good luck! In regards to sugar, I would add it before steaming so it gets worked into the milk by the steam power.

You should try both, see which one works the bets for you, it's really a game of personal preference to first get the consistency right.

Just an update: I have find that a 1:4 ratio of cashew to water works well for me. Also for a 6oz latte (with double shot espresso from black cat analog), 1/4 tsp of raw sugar is just about right for me.
