Quickmill Andreja Premium low water alarm goes off all the time

Looked around a bit and found some posts about this happening but because of a non-floating floater, which is not the case for me.
My machine has been sounding off the low water alarm (the continuous beep, not the beep beep beep) more and more over the past few months. At first, I could just poke the floaters a bit and it would stop. Over time, it would sound the alarm more and more often and the poke the floater trick worked less and less well. Now it's basically doing it multiple times a week and the poke the floater takes a while to actually get the beeeeeeeep to stop.
Any ideas what could be wrong? The floaters float just fine. If there's an internal component that likes to break, I can open the machine up and replace it.

EDIT:
Sorry about the bump. I hadn't gotten a reply here so I posted in coffeegeek and replies have started. Should've checked that thread before I bumped this.
