Sweet grinder. But does it lick your face, (and pee on the carpet) ?
As shown in my op, I had to source those features separately! :P

Thank you for the additional photos Gary. That drive really looks nice. I like the usage of a cogged belt and very nice enclosure for it!

Are the slots on the side venting for the motor below?

For grind adjustment, is the knurled screw turning a rack-and-pinion type setup? Or is this only tightening down?

Do you know offhand, is the motor AC or DC? (The size of that power cord coming off the back means business!) ;-)

Was reading an extensive thread of Terranova over on the UK coffee forum. Showed some nice overall pixs of a 'in-progress' grinder with a huge round back pedestal. Very nice work.

Tom,
The slots are not vents...they are for mounting an optional dosing system, which I may or may not get.

The motor is DC.

No doubt this grinder will outlive us all. Overbuilt like an older Mercedes.

I suspect there will be many more to come once the grinder reaches the general public.

Photos now re-posted. Will have some more and a video as well next week.

My new custom hybrid (one set each of conical and flat burrs) grinder made by Terranova.

Spring-action portafilter holder keeps the portafilter tight to the bottom funnel.

I have it set up for single dosing - just drop the beans directly into the top funnel.

As I just received it and am beginning to dial it in and optimizing my use of it, I can't yet say about quality in the cup. But the build quality, fit and finish are spectacular! My poor quality photos cannot do it justice.

Some additional views:

With the cover plate removed...blue LED lights - just a nice added touch by Terranova

More detail of same...

And one more for good measure.
