hello

i am in the process of refurbishing a la cimbali junior d1 (circa 90s).

I noticed that the safety thermostat on the element does not contain a manual reset switch. looks like this: http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/images/ar ... mostat.png

I searched and it seems that the manual resetable one is recommended (with the red button)

Is the manual switch one really needed? or can I just replace it with something similar (without the manual reset), I went to a couple of electronics stores, but none carried the manual reset type

thanks

Hi
I just did a quick search and found this

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CT01-CONTACT- ... 20c723f225

I'm sure you could find one at 125°c if you wanted one that cutout at a higher temp. Yeah, manual reset is a good feature.

Cheers

hey thanks

will something like this work: http://www.ebay.com/itm/5pcs-Manual-Res ... 5b0d8b166c

can anyone who is tech savy comment on the differences between the above link and the one recommended by CIV here:

Need thermal safety switch for Olympia Cremina

I only know that they are both 135C degree max. Should i go for something higher? ie: 155C, etc.

thank you
