I haven't done this modification because my pour over kettle is a design that does not lend itself to this mod, but, perhaps someone would like to try. Definitely not the artisan work of Dave (cannonfodder) Custom Wood for your Espresso Machine but it could be yours. FWIW, I did make the plywood table on this site, but I used plumbing pipes for legs.

I like the copper pour-over brew station. I just wish it had a different way of supporting the dripper.

It would be a lot more efficient if you used a coping saw instead of a drill to cut out the rough pattern.

Right. Presumably Ryobi, the site sponsor, doesn't make coping saws.

The first thing I thought of when I looked at the pictures was how well it would tie in with some good wood. My pecan BOS board could easily have a 3/4" hole drilled in one end to seat the vertical pipe, and eliminating the whole foot portion. Personally, I'd shorten the copper height of the upright, a little bit, just enough to get a flat scale and container under there.

I'm sure with a little ingenuity someone could craft a pretty awesome looking cold brew dripper as well.

Yeah, I like the pour over stands with wood bases that this shop sells:

And this shop has a cold brew tower that combines a wood base with copper tubing:
