Nice work Nelson, but is that an empty bottle of what used to be Glenrothes (one of my favorite single malts is Glenrothes special reserve) I spot in the corner?

lol. Thanks. Regrettably no single malt has graced the inside of that bottle. No, just a decorative piece. :(

Very strange Gilda. Can somebody explain this? What's that tube coming out of the front for? What kind of lever is this? Guessing someone didn't have the original lever and went Macgyver on it.

Is a vacuum breaker installed with a drain tube?

I saw that thing on Ebay.it - very unusual. It has that jury-rigged lever, and it looks as if there are not one but two holes drilled into the tank, and one has a tube coming off it. Maybe someone tried to make a steamer out of it, but no valve visible in the pics. Highly unusual. Quite the project for someone. At least it has an original PF, but like mine is missing the griglia. A new lever is not too hard to fashion, but the holes in the tank are a bit problematic. May be best to part it out. To my recollection it seemed pricey for a parts machine.

That tube looks like an OPV that drains into the drip tray to me, ala la pavoni.

That's the tube to the left, that runs down the side of the machine, but there is another one coming out of the front that's perplexing.
