Here are some wonderful podcasts of notable coffee industry people like Tim Wendelboe, Aleco Chigounis, Rachel Peterson and even one on Erna Knutsen. The next podcast to be shared soon will be a follow up with Tim Wendelboe where he goes in further detail on his farming practices and roasting. All definitely worth a look.

Tim is now on the farm for 3 weeks doing the initial planting cattura, gesha and shade trees. He has named the finca el Suelo that means "the soil". He will be doing a quite advanced form of microbial based agriculture. I'll be able to provide more about it soon. It's a really exciting project.TomC wrote:......The next podcast to be shared soon will be a follow up with Tim Wendelboe where he goes in further detail on his farming practices and roasting. Exciting to see someone to avoid the rust issue organically, by improving the inherent soil composition.farmroast wrote:... He will be doing a quite advanced form of microbial based agriculture. I'll be able to provide more about it soon. It's a really exciting project.

Thanks for the recommendation, Tom. I just listened to the Stephen Vick episode, which I found very interesting.

I'm at work at a particularly quiet day, so I went thru most of them. I met the host, Bjorg Brend Laird last year in Seattle with her husband John. I think she's doing wonderful work bringing talent and concepts from the NBC to us here on the west coast.
