The threading for both the existing temperature switch and this RTD is M4 x 0.70 mm.

The two female spade connections which currently connect to the temperature switch would be extended such that they connect to the load contacts of an SSR. The rest is just a typical PID installation. I do not mean to imply that this is a trivial installation but at least it is 100% easily reversible.
