I just picked up a Simonelli Jazz Plus at a really rock bottom price from a small shop going out of business. I see from an online search it's a rather expensive DB machine. Can some one offer their opinion plus or minus about this machine?

Never seen one, but I'd imagine it all comes down to how you feel about ESE pods.

I gather this machine was designed with use in an office type environment in mind and that's why the pods. This machine is a Jazz Plus and can be equipped with a card reader, although this one isn't, so that the user has to insert a card in the reader to make coffee. Without a card, the user can get only hot water or steam. I guess all of this is to control coffee use.

It is really a solid, well made machine. I bought it with resale in mind. I don't have room for any more coffee machines and my C85 serves me well.
