These days I don't give it much thought for the same reason Jason cites:

I wrote Hope springs eternal over four years ago, a decidedly negative assessment of cafes in our region. Two years later, I documented noteworthy progress (e.g., Crema Cafe, La Farm Cafe, both within a short drive of our house). In my opinion, this positive trend continues. I see no need to think about bad coffee when there's so much good coffee to enjoy.
