Used Elektra T1, no water from portafilter

Hi,
I just picked up a used 1998 Elektra model T1. When I hooked it up to the water line, the boiler heats up, and the hot water, and steam both work great. The problem I am having is that I just get a few drops of water out of the portafilter. I have disassembled the portafilter, and cleaned it and still have the same problem.
I am new to this, any help would be great
Thanks,
Bill

Welcome to HB. This could be many things; more likely causes would be insufficient water line flow or pressure, an obstruction in the machine water path or a pump malfunction. Since you say that the boiler fill and hot water tap work properly, it could be as simple as a dirty group head. Clean the group head thoroughly. If that doesn't work, try disassembling the water line and checking for obstructions. Test the pump pressure.
Above all else, provide a lot more detail about what you have or haven't tested. Also do you have a vibe or rotary pump, is it plumbed into a water line & what is your water line pressure?
Your question is the same as recently posed here.
