Hi, Astra espresso 220V machine with ULKA motor, can the bearing behind the pump be REPLACED, I have one now the bearing is trashed....and grinding...........what options..........thanks.

Bearings can be replaced in most high quality motors. Do you know if it's ball or sleeve bearing. You're local to me and I'd be happy to look at it if you need a hand.

Ball bearing. I pulled out the entire commutator, the bearing is frozen with heavy rust on the end of the shaft is a puller required or should it just pop off, or do I take the OTHER good bearing off - large screw there... and slide the whole thing off in that direction? Can you call me 818 745-6700, anybody else know how to pop off this bearing, how EXACTLY does it come off.
