[New members] Where to buy/sell used gear?

This site doesn't allow "for sale" or "want to buy" posts because they attract a lot of trouble and drive up the noise/data ratio. I know because I moderated on Coffeegeek for more than five years and its Coffeegeek's Buy, Sell and Trade forum accounts for the overwhelming majority of posts requiring intervention (e.g., shills, commercial come-ons, spammers, etc.). In addition to CoffeeGeek, I recommend giving Craigslist a try since local sales are less hassle than dealing with UPS/FedEx and PayPal.
