Hard to say. First of all, it would depend on when Jim's done tinkering, Vibiemme has integrated whatever changes he proposes, and they deliver a production model. If past experience is an indicator, it won't be anytime soon (late spring... maybe?).
Don't know if you have a pipeline into what Jim is up to, but I'd be interested in what changes he's proposing to Vibiemme, or any insights he has on the machine. Depending on the differences I'd be willing to put off a purchase for a month or two. The DD is one of three machines left on my short list, depending on what I learn over the next month or so.
