Latest Forum Topic Link To Latest Post?

Hi guys,

I tend to use the "latest forum topics" on the main page to get to the action. However, unlike some other forums, clicking on the link takes you to the first post in the thread, rather than the most recent. I thought it might be useful for Dan et al to know what people prefer. Personally, I'd prefer the topics to link to the latest post, rather than having to click through to the last page of a long thread.

If you click the icon (arrow pointing to the sheet, see below), you go to the last post. If you click the topic title, you just go to the top of the thread.

You may also be interested in the improved forums RSS feed. Firefox ("live bookmarks") and Internet Explorer 7 ("Favorites > Feeds") will recognize the feeds automatically, or you can use your favorite RSS reader (e.g., Google Reader). You can also subscribe per forum, e.g., Lever Espresso Machines Forum [RSS]. Look for this symbol in your browser:



Clicking it will subscribe to the feed.
